Very occasionally if you have heavy logistic bot congestion a logistic bot will crash. This means logistic bots are best used for higher value items like engines or power poles, using them for low value items like ore and copper wire is OK but less resource efficient. The goal is not to stop the use of bots, but to provide a small incentive to use belts in some situations late-game.

Is there a player limit?
Unlimited players: no slot limits from us, and set any max players in Settings. Every plan's player number is only a recommendation for smooth performance on that plan's memory and CPU; you set your server's own max players in Settings. No slot limits. Ever.
Which size do I need?
Factorio comes in 3 sizes: 2 GB (recommended for about 3 players) at $2.99 a month (first term, then $4.30), 3 GB (recommended for about 50 players) at $5.99 a month (first term, then $8.62) and 4 GB (recommended for about 100 players) at $9.99 a month (first term, then $14.38). The picker above recommends one for your player count and mods, and you can resize later.
Will my server lag?
Your server runs on NVMe hardware, and the size picker recommends enough memory for your players and mods. If you grow, resize from the panel in a click.
What happens if my server gets attacked?
Every game server sits behind the Nxeon Shield: five layers of DDoS filtering that scrub attack traffic before it reaches your world.
Are my worlds backed up?
Switch on scheduled backups in your server’s panel and it keeps the last 2 daily restore points, ready to roll back to.
Can I install mods and plugins?
Yes. Pick Stable, Experimental or Space Age (2.0+) when you deploy, then add supported mods from NxLabs to your server in one click, or upload your own files.
Can I change size later?
Yes. Resize from the panel whenever your community is ready.
Where are the servers?
Factorio servers run in Singapore, Canada and Germany. Pick the region closest to most of your players when you deploy.
Do you offer custom servers for big communities?
