Is there a player limit?
No player cap from us — up to 8, Icarus's own maximum. Every plan's player number is only a recommendation for smooth performance on that plan's memory and CPU; you set your server's own max players in Settings.
Which size do I need?
Icarus comes in 3 sizes: 6 GB (recommended for about 4 players) at $12.99 a month (first term, then $18.70), 8 GB (recommended for about 6 players) at $18.99 a month (first term, then $27.34) and 12 GB (recommended for about 8 players) at $24.99 a month (first term, then $35.98). The picker above recommends one for your player count, and you can resize later.
Will my server lag?
Your server runs on NVMe hardware, and the size picker recommends enough memory for your players. If you grow, resize from the panel in a click.
What happens if my server gets attacked?
Every game server sits behind the Nxeon Shield: five layers of DDoS filtering that scrub attack traffic before it reaches your world.
Are my worlds backed up?
Switch on scheduled backups in your server’s panel and it keeps the last 2 daily restore points, ready to roll back to.
Can I install mods and plugins?
Icarus modding is community-run; deep server-side mod support is limited compared with Workshop-native titles. Full file access to configs and prospect/session settings; verify mod compatibility before relying on it.
Can I change size later?
Yes. Resize from the panel whenever your community is ready.
Where are the servers?
Icarus servers run in Singapore, Germany and Canada. Pick the region closest to most of your players when you deploy.
Do you offer custom servers for big communities?
Yes. If you need more than 12 GB, a network of linked servers or dedicated hardware, talk to us and we’ll size and quote a custom setup.
