If you don't lke the mod's special features BabyMode difficulty deactivates every feature except the AI ADHD fix Recommended to run with steam launch options -preventhibernation and obviously pre-aquatica If you playing this on raw vanilla i would recommend you change to playing on either The Hunted by Olympia or a vanilla improved mod like Rebalanced Dinos by yanhe20211 because this mod was designed based on them as they are way better than vanilla; No reason to be playing raw vanilla in 2026.

Trying to get away from a rex that hunted you down is pure horror and fear this mod by default is not a horror mod but can be turned into one using the GUS options

What is this mod?

Mainly a fix for the "ADHD" AI of the base game but also getting back the "old ark" feeling by adding features like base raiding, hunts, coordenated ambushes and sprints to dinos and custom behaviour(100% compatible and will not affect modded creatures negatively, i tested with Primal Fear Neo Ark and DOX)

This mod loads via singleton actor and buff classes and has alot of functions and big even graphs but don't worry it just loads for the first time and also i did frame desync to load in different frames to not lag spike the first time. if you having performance problems its certainly not this mod i optimized it alot since launch.

Probably you can, if you find a mod that doesn't work just write in the steam discussion and i will take a look.

The Hunted Integrations

The Hunted Integrations REQUIRE Difficulty=Hard, a more general integration is around the mother and father dinos, basically they will act more protective of the nest and always be close enough to respond to any threats. besides alot of features i dont want to spoil it also includes a MAJOR performance fix involving baby dinos, nests and cave bats increasing FPS by 30 to 40% it also adds full compatibility between The Hunted and Combat Trainer, Shiny Dinos and other mods involving global dino selection as nests will NOT be selected anymore

DEV TIP: the bigger the dragweight the more terrifying the dino will be

if using this mod with The Hunted : Watch the rivers before its too late At night carnivores get heightened instincts, be aware! Stray away from the swamp

Optional Buffs

Buff_DinoFaster_LuizzzAI will make dinos faster when applied, this is useful for players who want real difficulty, will need to be setup with spawn configuration

Game User Settings

[LuizzzAI] TargetingRangeMultiplier=1.0 NightTargetingRangeMultiplier=1.0 Difficulty=Normal - can be Normal, BabyMode or Hard PlayerDesirabilityMultiplier=1.0 UseExtraLogic=False - will make AI better but the performance specially in caves is hit so i disabled by default DifficultyModifierMultiplier=1.0 - can be 0.1 to 2.0 and will control how hard the game will be, you can think of this as a balance from realism to game, 1.0 is perfect but 2.0 is a challange that many will like, lower than 1.0 make the game easier than vanilla

What I recommend is using this mod with The Hunted to get all the features ;)

Hard is the full mod, good luck! Normal is the mod tuned down alot to be close to vanilla, recommended for bobs :D Babymode is just the AI ADHD fixed and some ark fixes like fixing some negative numbers that were intended as positive(one of the ways this can be seen is the direwolf's pack bonus actually making it tankier not weaker now)

again, I recommend to use this mod with The Hunted.
