ARK: Serpentine Creatures

Creatures moving with serpentine locomotion!

Compatible with game version v358.26 — AKA the Pre-Aquatica version!

This mod adds four creatures with custom mechanics to your ARK:

Vulcanite(AD) - from Aquatica!!!

• Core Mechanic: Features a stackable Combustion gauge that boosts damage; its gain and decay rates dynamically scale with ambient temperature.
• Dual-Form Offense: Lava Breath switches between floating fireballs and sticky explosive lava globs; Flame Dash applies a percentage-based burning debuff when at high Combustion.
• Features & Utility: Immune to fire and lava damage, and converts such damage into health regeneration. Releases magma gas underwater for area crowd control. Built-in rider protection grants riders full immunity to dismounts, fire and lava damage.

Deathworm(AD)

• Dual attack modes: Acid Rain applies No Fly debuff and movement slow; charged Lightning Breath deals insanely high damage and bypasses lightning immunity
• Burrow & Grab: Grabs targets and burrows to deal burst damage, with strong health regeneration on successful hit
• Unique taming mechanic: Strike its head during lightning charge to trigger a torpor window

Iceworm(AD) - Modified from Deathworm(AD)!!!

• Core Passive: Features Ice Value. Fully stacked Ice Value boosts ice spike damage; its gain and decay rate dynamically scale with temperature, and Ice Value recovers steadily while burrowing.
• Mechanics: Ice Spikes can deal multiple hits against large creatures. Ice Armor grants substantial damage reduction, and its destruction triggers area ice explosions along with a freeze debuff.
• Unique Taming Mechanic: Must be knocked out using fire damage.

Basilisk(AD)

• Core mechanics: Stackable Basilisk Venom increases damage taken and slows targets; Toxic Fury passive builds self buffs based on nearby marked targets
• Ultimate ability: Full-gauge Basilisk Gaze petrifies enemies in range, doubles debuff effects, and grants damage reduction to allies
• Fully breedable, classified as a large carnivore

※ Creatures from this mod use serpentine movement, with its tail rotating in real time based on movement path (similar to the Ascended Titanoboa. Since UE4 lacks UE5-exclusive features, the effect is less polished; frequent model jitter from non-rider perspectives on servers is normal).

※ Due to the serpentine movement system, tail posture may desync between server and client. For this reason, the full tail has no collision; only the upper body has active collision.
