This mod is a recreation of Annunaki Genesis, which brought ARK a rich variety of creature tiers, distinctive elemental colors, and unforgettable taming and combat experiences.

My love for that experience inspired me to create this mod. By fixing old issues, updating creature appearances, and gradually introducing new creatures and abilities, I hope to help more players discover the appeal of Annunaki Genesis.

Asset Credits & Important Notice

This mod uses assets from Annunaki Genesis (ID: 538986229). It is an adaptation developed and maintained by me personally.

This mod has not received authorization from the original creator. I respect Psycho’s work and creativity. If the original creator objects to the use of these assets, or if this project causes them any concerns, I will remove the mod from the Workshop and cooperate in addressing the matter.

Thank you, Psycho, for creating Annunaki Genesis—one of the finest ARK mods in my eyes.

Fixes & New Content

• Fixed model issues affecting the Argentavis.
• Updated the models and skeletons of most older creatures to use ARK’s updated official assets.
• Added adult versions of the elemental DodoRexes.
• Added the Alpha Carcharodontosaurus, Alpha Therizinosaurus, and Badass Gigas. More DLC creatures, such as the Mantis and Reaper, are planned.
• Gradually introducing special abilities for Alpha creatures, such as a higher Bloodrage stack limit for the Alpha Carcharodontosaurus.

Development Progress & Future Plans

• Badass Series: More creatures are being added. Creatures such as the Beelzebufo and bats are not yet complete.
• Tameable Alpha & Prime Series: Completed, with further additions and improvements planned. I’m especially excited to work on an Alpha DodoRex, Alpha Rock Elemental, and Alpha Mantis!
• Champion Series: Completed, with more Champion creatures planned.
• Tameable Boss Series: Completed.
• Warden Series: Completed. The known issues affecting the Warden of the Skies have been fixed.

The item system is still under development. My next focus will be adding more items, crafting recipes, and related content, while continuing to balance creatures, improve spawns, and address player feedback.

Usage Notes

• This mod is designed to work without requiring first priority in your load order. Compatibility may still be affected by other mods.
• Creature and item codes can be found in the “code” discussion thread below.
• If you notice missing codes, unusual spawns, or other issues, please let me know in the comments.

When reporting an issue, please include the map, whether you are playing in single-player or on a server, the creatures involved, and how the issue occurred. Screenshots and your mod list/load order can also help me investigate.

Recommended Difficulty Settings

If you would like a high-level experience closer to classic Annunaki Genesis, you can use the following settings.

Windows single-player configuration file: ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

Close the game, then add or update the following lines under [ServerSettings]:

DifficultyOffset=1.0
OverrideOfficialDifficulty=20.0

With these settings, standard wild creatures will normally have a maximum level of 600. Special creatures, cave creatures, and modded creatures with custom level rules may differ.

After making the changes, restart the game and allow wild creatures to respawn. Alternatively, you can clear existing wild creatures after backing up your save. Existing creatures will not automatically change levels.
