This mod aims to provide game balance and progression for the supply drops and cave drops throughout The Island, The Center, and Scorched Earth. This is accomplished by creating basically 9 tiers of loot which contain several subsets of loot I've referred to in my notes as sets or tables. The basis for grouping these items together has been common features, crafting stations, level requirements, and scarcity.

In general, each tier of loot includes tools such as picks and axes, weapons both melee and ranged, armors, saddles grouped by level of engram access, resources, ammunition, defenses such as spike walls or turrets, fishing rods, equipment consisting of handy items that do not keep a durability rating, such as a compass, and crafting stations ranging from a mortar and pestle to an industrial grinder.

For items that have a quality rating, such as a pike or gas mask or metal shield, there is always a 50% chance of a blueprint or an item.

Heavy items, such as cannon balls, cannons, rafts, and so on, typically have odds 40% or lower than other items of dropping.

Food and consumables can drop in some of the lower and mid tier crates, and include things from cooked meat to prime jerky to lazarus chowder.

The Scorched Earth crates are variants of the standard crates that exclude items of no use on Scorched Earth, such as Megalodon saddles, and include items specific to that place, such as Lymantria saddles and so on.

Because the Ocean crates are shared with Scorched Earth as Desert crates without any ability to switch them, the Ocean drops no longer include certain types of items normally associated with them, such as SCUBA gear, Fur armor, and high level Plesiosaur and Mosasaur saddles.

Loot Crate rolls have been standardized, reducing the number of loot roles per Scorched Earth crate to match those from The Island.

Surface Loot Crate drops peak in quality with Red and Red Ringed drops giving as good as Mastercraft. Ascendant gear can be had from Ocean drops and some Red Cave and Hard Cave drops. On The Island, the "Hard Caves" are the Ice Cave, the Swamp Cave, and the two Underwater Caves. These four now share loot tables. Only a cave on The Center that has loot crate spawn called from one of those four locations will give "Hard Cave" quality loot. Scorched Earth doesn't have different ranks of caves in the loot crate spawns, so they are all standard cave drops.

Currently, the main issue with this mod is the frequency we're seeing of siege weapons and ammo. I may remove them entirely, or dramatically reduce them. I have prepared a table of Kibbles to serve as loot, but it is time consuming to include and the balance of doing so is tricky.

Odd things do happen in the mod still, such as singlets of IEDs and doublets of Magnifying glasses and unintentional combinations such as a Cage and two pairs of Handcuffs.

You will never get a crop plot blueprint while this mod is functional.

I'll keep this mod updated with new items and saddles as the dev kit receives updates. Since the loot tables are extensive, compiling a comprehensive list will take some time. My original notes do not reflect the current tweaked and tuned late beta of the mod.

Updates as of 4/15/17: Saddles: Iguanadon and Equus saddles added to appropriate Tiers of loot for The Island and The Center Fertilizer: Finally removed from the last of the The Island and The Center loot tiers Scorched Earth: Still has fertilizer, siege weapons, and lacks new saddles. Next update will fix these issues.

Fishing: Fishing is being moved out of this mod and is being considered for a separate mod. Hopefully your fishing rods work again. Sorry for any inconvinience.
