The X-1 Simulation is a map roughly 1/8 the size of The Island. It's a square map divided in 9 quadrants by a grid like structure, with a unique biome per quadrant. This is rather small and simple. The idea here is for me to make a functionnal and fun map, with the most features I can, before making a "true map". This map mostly uses vanilla spawners, so it is compatible with dinos mods.

RECENT UPDATES: - 28/05: 1. Removed the wyverns, not enough space for them 2. 3 new biomes (the map is complete) -> gen 1, gen 2 dinos 3. New in game map 4. Added wall textures for the grid and better normals for various landscape textures

Biomes:

1. Beach Biome: "The Coast" (Hard) [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] The classic beach biome. Be carefull there may be more than a few dodos here... 25°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> Random jungle dinos and some insects - Static Meshes: 100%

2. Swamp Biome: "The Garden" (Very Hard) [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] Swamp waters merged with aberration dinos on the surface... What could go wrong? 30°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> Swamp dinos in the water, aberration dinos on land! - Static Meshes: 100%

3. Volcano Biome: "The Molten Summit" [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] A more challenging biome with many hazards. Source of metal, obsidian and crystal. 45°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> Magmasaurs - Static Meshes: 100%

4. Redwood Biome: "The Red Grove" (Very Hard) [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] An iconic biome. Giant trees incoming. 15°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> R-Wolves, R-Procoptodons, R-Snow Owls, Mammoth, Raptors... - Static Meshes: 100%

5. Desert Biome: "The Death Canyon" (Very Hard) [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] Very high temperatures. Scorched Earth dune dinos spawn here. 40°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> SE Dune dinos - Static Meshes: 100%

6. Obelisk and City Biome: "The Obelisk" (Normal) [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] The easiest biome, only beach dinos here. You can transfer your character at the Obelisk. 20°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> Beach dinos - Static Meshes: 100%

7. Custom Biome: "The Element Dunes" [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] . Aberration resources can be found here. 40°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> Gen 2 and 1 dinos - Static Meshes: 100%

8. Valley Biome: "The Sanctum" [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] A peaceful biome. Only herbivores spawn here 20°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> gen 2 dinos - Static Meshes: 100%

9. Glacier Biome: "The Frozen Land" [h1](Screenshots)[/h1] A very cold biome -50°C - Landscape: 100% - Foliage: 100% - Dino Spawners: 100% -> Ferox, bears and wolves - Static Meshes: 100%
