Tier 2 Scout Submarine 13500 mks Easily 20 kph every direction with no upgrades. 4 turrets, 1 depth charge, 1 electrical discharge coil (covers blind spot). Large turrets on top for eventual sinking via abyssal creature. Ballast neutral level matches Nav Computer properties (that means sub's handling is VERY beginner friendly) 10 camera surveillance system, alarms for flood/fire/meltdown, lockable brig (lever near Nav Computer), 2 airlocks, Med Fabricator/Fabricator/Deconstructor, PDU power system instead of daisy chained junction boxes, storage for 8 crates, 10 diving suit lockers, and duct blocks to flow water to pumps when flooded. Oh, and the AI waypoints work. So you can play 100% single player.
