ANGEL MAKER
Introduction
Author's note: This submarine is my vision of the possible everyday life and gloomy vibes of the crew. Although the submarine was designed with the idea of a fortress that takes away the lives of underwater fauna, the internal elements in return pose greater danger than usual. Hence the ambiguous name: ANGEL MAKER. It should be played briskly, especially with the shuttle, which I highly recommend you explore. It has enormous potential.
Heavy Combat Submarine / Mobile Fortress
[hr][/hr]
ANGEL MAKER is an early European Coalition combat submarine, originally built to guard trade convoys. Though its core design is obsolete, extensive retrofitting and Overload-capable systems have kept it operational. Its decentralized firepoint layout allows it to remain combat-effective even when heavily damaged. Today, it serves as a mobile fortress against pirates and hostile forces along major trade routes. And now many of them searches captains and crew for usage. Get your own Ol' Betty

Core Mechanics (Short Overview)
- Overload — Temporarily boosts system performance but generates heat; overheating can cause fires, and all bonuses disable during cooldown.
- Heat Sinks — Accumulate heat from overloaded systems; must fully cool before Overload can be reused.
- Shuttle [SOUL TAKER] — Laser-armed shuttle with no ammo requirements, but it accumulates heat when using gun and discharge coil; weapons are disabled while its systems cool down.
- Main Caliber Gun — Sonar-guided Railgun + Flak hybrid; increased range, cannot fire if gun breaches are open.
- Doors System — Doors stay open outside combat; automatically switch to safe mode during flooding, fires, or monster presence.
- Storage System — Advanced engineering storage and sorting; can crush crew members if misused.
- Electrical Switchboards — Two independent grids; failure of one does not disable the entire ship.
- Decentralized Firepoints — Maintain combat capability under damage but require a larger, well-coordinated crew.
- Additional Armor Plates — Has additional layer of armor on top of the sub, and some armored places at the bottom.

Overheating Control System
- Main Submarine Terminal — The main vessel is equipped with a dedicated terminal used to monitor and control ship-wide overheating.
- The more systems are active simultaneously, the faster overall heat accumulation occurs.
Before reaching the three fire stages, the crew receives three escalating warning levels:
- Visual Alerts — Red glowing indicators on yellow heat-conducting pipes.
- Audio Alarm — A continuous warning signal indicating critical heat levels.
- Smoke Emission — Smoke leaking from beneath the heat indicators, signaling imminent ignition.

Shuttle Overheating System
- On the [SOUL TAKER] shuttle, overheating applies only to weapon systems and the discharge coil.
- When cooling becomes available, a flashing yellow button appears at the gunner’s station.
- The final warning before ignition is smoke coming from the shuttle’s ventilation system.

Additional Shuttle Utility
- The shuttle serves not only as a source of additional firepower but also as a valuable tool for resource acquisition.
- [SOUL TAKER] is the only vehicle equipped with a mineral scanner, making it essential for locating and extracting resources.
