Type 021A - Moray

Produced in small numbers at 'Bucket Station,' the Type 021 was designed to undercut the already inexpensive Dugong class submarines. The first keel was laid just 3 months before contact with Earth was lost, the impact of which crippled project funding. Most Type 021 submarines suffer from electrical issues, poor reactor shielding, and frequently lack pre-installed shipboard weaponry. But, to give credit where it is due, the design team did meet their pricing goal.

As Europan colonies extend further and further beneath the ice the logistics of keeping outposts supplied become ever more apparent. To this end Bucket Station has set out to design a fleet of affordable transport submarines. Modeled after antiquated submarines from Earth’s history, the Type IIIA, affectionately call the “Seacow” or “Seekuh” was the end result. Designed for short, relatively safe transport routes, the Seekuh lacks many features that modern submariners have come to expect. Supposedly, one such submarine disappeared with the only known copy of Aunt Doris' Banana Bread recipe.
