Creature Introductions

The Hellraptor (previously named Demonic Mudraptor) is a hellish creature that lives in the abyss. Its shell is surrounded by thick layers of incendium, thus making it extremely resistant to incoming attacks. Its jaw can deliver a powerful bite that inflicts intense burns upon the victim. Alternatively, the Demonic Mudraptor can use its foot to kick its victims to death. Even though it does less damage to structures and doors, it has a 50% chance to give the victim a severe concussion and possibly chronic brain damage.

The Dreadnought Hammerhead is a scarce variant of hammerhead that has yet to be studied very well due to the buildup of highly vibration-resistant hardened material covering its outer layer of skin. The actual material is unknown, whether it is obsidian or some other extremely dense material that can deflect sound waves and thus go unnoticed by any sonar. Apart from its appearance being noticeably darker, it also has small protrusions resembling teeth sticking out from its mouth. Unlike regular hammerheads, The Dreadnought variant can freely pass between Europa's abyss and surface level. It is believed it can do this because of the rough material on the surface that prevents pressure from crushing it, but it still needs to be confirmed.
The Lapidaris Mantis comes from the deepest and darkest depths of the abyss. This creature likes to roam around underwater volcanoes and hates the cold water. Aside from being a mutated Mantis, this faster and versatile creature does significantly more damage to structures.

The Rhino Mantis, much like many of the other 'Demonic' creatures, has a hardened shell and, in turn, is more robust than its natural counterpart. This species of mantis is most common around the colder waters of Europa, and has much higher predatorial capabilities. Its rough claws make it easier to invade your submarine and thus cause more damage to your crew than a regular mantis, which usually only sticks around caves.
