Under normal circumstances Gale submarine model has a single important purpose - acting as the Coalition's dedicated outpost recovery vessel, delivering workers and materials to stations in need. In a situation when an outpost's reactor is damaged to the point of requiring prolonged repairs, Gale is able to power the outpost's grid with its own reactor for as long as it is necessary. It being put up for sale is an exceptional case.
Gale comes with a very stable electrical grid, two engines which allow it to swiftly move between locations, a respectable amount of cargo space, and a reasonable selection of weapons for a Scout. Its circular layout allows crew members to switch between different tasks with ease, quickly responding to emergency situations.
