Overview
This sub was assembled by an Ex-Atlas employee as a passion project. It was created from a large variety of parts from other scrapped submarines, giving it a colossal amount of features.
1-Man Weaponry The gunnery on this vessel consists of one singular periscope, which is able to switch between all the various guns on the ship.
Automatic weapons To compensate for the inability to have more than one person manning the guns, you can turn on a fully automatic setting, allowing the ship to control the weapons rather than a person.
Auxiliary engines There are a total of 4 engines on the Hammerhead. The base engine is a standard issue twin-turbine engine used all around Europa. The two extra engines are a custom togglable system taken from an old interstellar vessel. As they are not meant for underwater exploration, they make a noticeable amount of noise. Additionally, the creator of this sub has retrofitted an old Earth era hyperdrive to be able to run off of pulse laser ammunition. It will put a colossal amount of stress on the electrical system, but it does its job.
Backup batteries What more is there to say, their backup batteries.
Lock exits panic leaver You can lock all the exits on the sub in case of a mutiny or traitor on board.
Scuttle leaver In case of an emergency or uncontrolled husk outbreak, you may force the sub to flood itself and send you and your crew down to the depths of Europa.
Reactor meltdown leaver You may, as a last resort, force the reactor to meltdown, most likely killing you and the entire crew. Please take care with it.
Alarms There are many alarms on this vessel, -Reactor issues -Oxygen warning -Engine warning -Ballast warning -Flood warning -Ballast flora warning -Mass electrical discharge warning Many of these alarms are able to be silenced with their corresponding switch.
Smart lighting system The ship will communicate how much danger it is in through the lighting. If you are docked, it will be white. If all is fine, it will be yellow. If you are in danger, it will be red. If you are in immediate danger, it will be red and flashing. If the issue is fixed, the lighting will return to normal.
Captains lighting commands The captain may as well communicate through the lighting, overriding the ship. The captain has access to all lighting stages, save the docking one, as well as an additional “Captain is speaking” setting. To use this, simply pull the leaver in the command room, then press one of the three correlated buttons to set your panic level.
Manual ballast control Outside each of the 6 ballasts, there is a corresponding pump which allows you to force that pump to expel all water in the room.
Controllable crafting systems You can turn on/off all crafting setups. That's it.
Togglable lights You can turn on and off the lights. Not too complicated.
Live ship map In the main center of the ship there is a live map displaying the ship and all entities within it as well as a few of the ship's other systems.
WARNING Yes, this ship has a great many tools to give your arsenal, however, do not overuse them! If you put too much stress on the ship, the already janky power system will overload and cause the reactor to begin melting down. Should this happen, shut whatever you are using off, and it should go back to normal after a few seconds.
Best of luck with this submarine! It is quite competent at what it does, however be weary of its power system and repairs. It was made from literal junk yards after all!
