New version is out now. I removed the elevators, added 4 separate chambers and did some quality of life improvements. You can still use the old version, it's just hidden from menus.

Type: Attack Tier: 3 Cost: 35,000 Crew: 4-13 Dimensions: 54x25 m Top speed: 27.4 km/h

This took about 300 hours to make (I need to go outside) and will probably be my last sub. Add another 60 hours to the counter with the new version out. 100% Bot-Friendly (Just don't have discharge coils turned on when there's a hull breach)

LORE At first, it was an expensive vessel meant for the capture and research of small Europan life. Now, having outlived its purpose, it has become a tool for the torture of local fauna and mass execution of human prisoners. No military force would ever field this monstrosity, but rich pirates and mercenaries with paper-thin morals who enjoy making an extra buck from dead wildlife feel entirely at home. Its clean hallways can never hide what happened inside, nor how many mostly human lives were lost.

ELECTROCUTION CHAMBER & AUTO COILS The sub is entirely made of ramps with discharge coils to move stunned creatures into its 4 electrocution chambers. The electrocution chambers also act as corpse collectors. It will have a hard time with anything that cannot be stunned or is too big to fit into the chamber hallways. The sub has restrictive turret arcs to make it harder to deal with bigger creatures. This makes the engine overcharge system necessary to get creatures into your turrets' line of sight. Outside discharge coils consume a lot more power compared to the main coil array in the sub's center and have a 1-second reload time. Discharge coils DON'T differentiate between human and monster, so you have to disable them to get into the chambers or anywhere close to the hull.

ENGINE OVERCHARGE SYSTEM You can use a dedicated supercapacitor to overcharge your engines and accelerate to 2x speed for 2 seconds. You can only do this twice before it is depleted and needs time to recharge. The amount of acceleration is based on the speed applied at the nav terminal and the condition of both engines.

DUAL REACTORS The first reactor has low fuel consumption and low output, while the second one has high output but high fuel consumption. Generally, you want to manually max out the first reactor and use a little bit of the second reactor (disable overvoltage protectors first). There are no automatic controllers because I find them boring, but you can add one if you want.

OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTORS Two batteries that soak up 1.5x overcharge with a 3,000 recharge rate. They are connected to each reactor to alleviate the need for reactor controllers while still allowing undervoltage and can be disabled.

MAINTENANCE SWITCHES Most junction boxes have a maintenance switch to turn them off in case of repairs.

ENTRANCE TRAP The top-right dock features a dual discharge coil setup. It must be activated manually and is intended for station guards, but you can electrocute your crew to death if that's what you want.

ELEVATORS (OLD VERSION ONLY) Due to the sub's four separate modules, I needed to make four elevators. Surprisingly, I managed to make them bot-friendly through dirty hacks and sheer force of will. To make them bot-friendly, I needed to make the elevators and their doors invulnerable so that bots don't walk to their deaths when an elevator is destroyed. Bots sometimes give up on orders while traveling in the elevators (mainly the "man the guns" order), so you may have to issue the order again. Every elevator has an auto-detect feature that makes bots actually able to use elevators, but it can be turned off if you have no AI crew.

LONG-RANGE DRONE This can be controlled either manually or via Wi-Fi (1,000 m range). It also features an elaborate setup that simulates an energy shield. There is a switch at the command center that locks the undocking of the drone, which can only be operated by the captain.

DOCKS Every non-airlock dock has a red lever outside to open it in case you need to get into the sub immediately. Every dock has an output switch that makes it either receive or deliver power.

PERFORMANCE FRIENDLY By spending way too much time gutting and optimizing several circuits, I managed to cut the item count down as much as I possibly could. Even more so in the new version.
