"Commissioned as a ship of the line from Vorta Shipyards, the Kallichore class Hunter Killer was designed to engage hostile vessels in the field. With a strong emphasis on forward firepower, the Kallichore excels in the hands of captains capable of securing the advantage in a fight. This design mindset has left the ship somewhat lacking against the swarming biology of Europa, however - The aft section in particular has been cited as vulnerable."
Introduced to Coalition fleets as a supplemental vessel to the ageing humpbacks, the Kallichore class Hunter Killer was produced amidst personnel shortages, and its compact design reflects the lack of crewmembers it might carry. Between pirates and Separatist forces, high arcs of fire and forward armour were considered paramount in its design philosophy. At the behest of certain high-ranking admirals of the fleet, a token effort to facilitate prisoner transport was included in the blueprint, though its "Waste of space", per some captains, was a fierce topic of litigation in the first few months after the design was released.
While some Kallichore class vessels remain in service today, it has largely been superseded by more reliable designs. Some captains continue to prefer it for its unique profile in spite of this, and the arc of fire provided by its forward railgun is still seen as the finest among the fleet.
Features
Electronic Advantage - The Kallichore was built amidst resource and personnel shortages. Designers included every saving measure available for captains to implement. This includes a breakers for non-critical subsystems, a proximity sensor package, as well as general alarms for power failure and overvoltage conditions. Know the exact amount of fuel in the tank without having to run back and check!
Anti-Submarine Specialist - Rampant stories of vessels being pinned beneath the enemy aside, the Kallichore's primary weapon is the king of the sea in one-on-one engagements. A trainer gunner-captain relationship will put this excellent arc of fire to the best use.
Prisoner Holding Cell - With an access-restricted door and only the bare essentials within, the cell aboard the Kallichore, however vilified as Coalition meddling made manifest, is still a practical, non-lethal solution for captains with unruly crewmembers.

Tightly built, but still affording a few spots for unscrupulous creatures or fellows to hide away in, the Kallichore is a frigate with challenging gun coverage and limited flooding resistance. As always, this vessel is totally up for modification by the community. Thanks to Undertow for making Barotrauma. Best submarine game one could ask for. <3
