LRIS-V VAMPIRE

The VAMPIRE is a product of one of the Coalition's most secretive defense contractors: Pelagos Systems. Officially, very little is known about the program's existence. Production numbers are unknown, records are heavily restricted, and few outside of Coalition intelligence circles have ever seen one in operation.

The LRIS-V VAMPIRE is one of the most advanced submarines currently operating on Europa. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, advanced detection systems, true silent running capabilities, and the flexibility to perform a wide range of missions, it serves as a highly capable multi-role platform equally suited for reconnaissance, interdiction, escort duties, and direct combat operations. Due to its complexity and strategic importance, VAMPIRE-class submarines are assigned only to the Coalition's most experienced crews.

Among sailors, however, the stories persist.

Reports describe a black submarine appearing without warning in remote regions of Europa before vanishing back into the abyss. Pirates and smugglers tell stories of vessels disappearing after detecting an unidentified contact on sonar. Whether these stories are fact or fiction is difficult to determine, but one thing remains consistent: very few who encounter a VAMPIRE live long enough to tell the tale.
