This "Medoed" of yours is a slapped-together ship built by bandits—or any other crazy bastards who were willing to piece this monstrosity together from the scraps of other hulls, lighthouse wreckage, and whatever unbolted scrap metal they could lay their hands on. Visually, it might share a suspicious resemblance to the Russian auto industry, but don't run off just yet!
To start off, I suggest you try guessing which submarines were used to build it. Whether you guessed right or not, we’ll find out at the end of the description.
As mentioned earlier, this boat was put together by stark-raving lunatics out of all sorts of scrap metal. To top it off, a rusty, half-rotted obsolete railgun was bolted right onto the bow, and two engines yanked off either a Dugong or a Badger are crammed into the engine room, together propelling this heap of junk to blistering speeds! Check the weld seams and make sure this rusty bathtub doesn’t fall apart!
**Tactical and Technical Specifications:**
A railgun with a ~80-degree field of fire completely covers the front and a bit of the upper arc; two coilguns cover the stern, as well as the upper and lower horizons; a hardpoint mounted right above the captain's bridge covers the front and top. The underside of the bow features a discharge coil, covering the blind spot of both the railgun and coilguns.
Two engines accelerate the sub to a top speed of 40 km/h (I checked!), but the vertical buoyancy is pretty sluggish—just slightly faster than the Typhon I. (Though nothing's stopping you from using the engineering bay as an extra ballast; two pumps will handle that just fine).
And despite all the rust, this boat is fitted with a surprisingly solid CICS (Combat Information Central System): the armory houses a shuttle control terminal that lets you switch railgun control from the periscope in the gunnery deck over to the terminal, giving you long-range optics and sonar alignment so you can snipe targets from afar.
The submarine also features a hull repair system. Every compartment contains a fixFoam detonator, which you can trigger via a lever next to the status terminal in the command room (especially handy when the entire hull collapses). Alongside that, there's a self-destruct system: typing the secret word in all lowercase into the chat activates a hidden nuke, instantly obliterating the whole ship.
The boat's power grid uses a dual-loop design that works as follows: Reactor -> Input junction boxes (powering all secondary systems like fabricators, diving suit lockers, and lights) -> Two batteries with a combined max capacity of 8000 kW/min (for reference, the Orca2 only has 4000—so you have plenty of reserve power for silent running with the reactor shut off) -> Main junction boxes, which handle propulsion, life support, weaponry, etc. -> From there, power loops back to the input junction box via a large relay, giving you the option to run secondary systems even with the reactor turned off. Speaking of secondary systems:
Onboard, you'll find two deconstructors with a handy sorting system that dumps processed materials straight into the first large cabinet. Right next to them is a fabricator linked directly to the second large cabinet. The sonar comes equipped with a mineral scanner, making this rig amazingly convenient for mining ores and processing bodies from a captured outpost. Meanwhile, the medbay packs both a medical fabricator and a research terminal.
Total cargo capacity sits at 24 crates. Dimensions-wise, it's just slightly larger than the Wallaby, allowing it to squeeze through tight passages. Recommended crew size is 3–5 people, priced at 4,700 Markka, and as a bonus, the sub comes packed with Iran's nuclear arsenal! (Included onboard are four nuclear depth decoys, six nuclear railgun shells, and two cases of nuclear 40mm grenade rounds).
And if you haven't forgotten the question from the beginning: this boat is a Frankenstein monster made of a Dugong (the rear section is a dead giveaway), a Badger (the bow section), and an interior layout mimicking the Orca (3 ballasts and compartment arrangement).
