About the Weapon Pack

The mod includes 19 different types of weapons. They are all divided into tiers — from 1 to 3 — so the progression toward better weapons moves along with your campaign progress. Nobody stops you from using, say, the AKS-74u (as Strelok), upgrading it to excellent quality, and making it all the way to the center of Europe, because each weapon offers varying effectiveness in different situations. This makes you feel that things don’t just devolve into the monotonous use of only the most versatile weapon in the mod.

For every weapon type (except shotguns), a separate system is implemented: you feed the required caliber of ammunition directly into your own magazine (eliminating the tediousness of recrafting magazines). The magazine can be replenished at a fabricator, or you can buy a new magazine from traders at an outpost.

Weapon Mods & Ammunition

The weapon pack also allows you to install 5 different mods on your weapons — scopes, under-barrel grenade launchers (temporarily disabled), and suppressors (temporarily disabled). These mods will adjust the weapon's performance, making it more versatile. This allows you to stick with just one or a few favorite weapon types without them becoming obsolete in the late game, even if they are weaker Tier 1 or 2 weapons.
