Status PDA [Obsolete]

Mod is now obsolete - replaced by Handheld Status Monitor, available in Mechanic's Technician tree at level 2.

You can still freely use the mod if you wish though.

Adds handheld, battery operated versions of Status Monitor, commonly found linked with the Navigation Terminal.

Perfect for Mechanics, Engineers, first-timers learning the sub layout and those eager to be first to the hull breach.

The PDA comes in two variants: basic and upgraded. Basic variant only shows the Hull Status - it does not show Water and Oxygen levels, EVEN if the sub's Status Monitor would. The upgraded variant shows Water levels as well, but accepts only Fulgurium batteries.

Battery operation limits: Basic variant: - Normal battery - 30 seconds - Fulgurium battery - 60 seconds

Upgraded variant: - Fulgurium battery - 45 seconds

The battery is drained only when the PDA is held in hand.

Base shop cost: Basic variant: 450 Available everywhere

Upgraded variant: 600 Available at: Outpost, City, Research

Crafting Basic variant: Fabricator - time 45 seconds: - Electrical lvl 30 - FPGA circuit x1 - Plastic x1 - WiFi component x3

Deconstructor - time 15 seconds: - FPGA circuit x1 - Plastic x1 - WiFi component x3

Upgraded variant: Fabricator - time 20 seconds: - Electrical lvl 40 - Status PDA x1 - Water detector x1

Deconstructor - time 10 seconds: - Status PDA x1 - Water detector x1
