Type 99 Jihua

Summary

The Type 99 Jihua is the final iteration of the Jihua line of submarines, inspired by designs from the Dugong, Azimuth, and Orca. It features excellent speed, maneuverability, and hull strength while sporting great gun coverage. Among the basic amenities most submarines have, it has full fabrication capability, while also including a hydroponics bay and mineral scanner.

The Jihua carries a small and highly agile camera drone that is also wired to detonate should the crew require it.

The only drawback of this light submarine is its lack of heavy armament, with no rail gun any large creatures or opposing submarines may prove a challenge.

There is a safety and a button that sets a timer in the Command room for the drone's payload. It can be canceled by turning toggling the safety from the ARMED state to the SAFE state with the same lever used to arm it. The sub also features an internal cam system in the armory for security to use, and an external cam system in the command room. There is also a mineral scanner at the bottom of the sub, in engineering.
