Beyond Cities [Enhanced]

This mod features a collection of placeable buildings that can be used by players and admins alike to help build cities in their world. All items are admin locked and can be learned through books spawned by admin privileges.

I hope you enjoy the mod and all the detail and intricacies that went into creating it as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life.

This mod contains many buildings and is divided into several feats. [*]BC-Meso Buildings [*]BC-Clay Buildings [*]BC-Stone Buildings [*]BC-Brick Buildings [*]BC-Medieval Buildings [*]BC-Asian Buildings [*]BC-Norse Buildings [*]BC-Nobility Buildings [*]BC-Platforms

All of the above buildings come in different variants. You will need to use the radial wheel menu to access the system.

Each category has placeable doors that act the same as building doors but are free placement instead. Although they can be harder to mess with.

TAKE NOTE: This system is designed exclusively for dedicated servers and is not officially supported in Singleplayer. While it can still function in Singleplayer with additional setup, changes to certain settings may only take effect after reloading your Singleplayer game.

While a lot of items are present in the mod, many of them are found as variations of specific items and can be used through Tot Deco Handler API.

How to use the systems

[*]To access the system, hold your interact key while looking at a supported item and select the Beyond Decor logo. This will open a large vertical interface window on the left side of your screen.

[*]Variation: Browse and select from the available variations for the item. [*]Resize: Scale the item to your desired size within the allowed limits. [*]Preset: Certain items include built-in presets. You can cycle through them using the arrows or click the displayed number to open a dropdown menu. [*]Colors: Open the color wheel to customize the colors of your items. While not every item supports recoloring, most do. [*]URL: Some items, such as frames, allow you to enter a custom image URL for display. URL-enabled items are restricted behind an Admin feat, which can be unlocked through a special book.

Icons and displayed information

The icon system is currently being reworked and improved. During this transition period, some icons may display incorrect images, borders, or indicators. These issues are gradually being updated to match the new system outlined below.

There are four different types of indicators used on item icons:

[*]The following indicator means the item supports color customization, either through the color wheel, presets, or both. [*]The following indicator means the item includes multiple variations. [*]The following indicator means the item supports both color customization and multiple variations. [*]A Prefab item is a decorative setup composed of multiple individual items. These are typically more complex creations where making a dedicated icon was either impractical or unnecessarily time-consuming. When you see the word PREFAB on an icon, it indicates a specially designed decorative arrangement created by us.

[*]This mod does not overwrite any vanilla files. [*]Beyond Cities should be placed before any mods that do contain overwrites in your mod list. [*]Beyond Cities should be placed before Tot!Sudo if you use the mod. [*]This mod uses the ID range of: 240710000 [*]Mod ID: 3732884085 [*]Mod Pak file name: Beyond_Cities.pak [*]This mod is compatible with all mods that do not overwrite vanilla files. If another mod includes overwrites, compatibility and stability cannot be guaranteed. [*] Many suggestions from the community are taken into consideration and are often implemented into the mod.
