DeathTrauma
DeathTrauma adds a configurable death penalty system to Conan Exiles Enhanced.
Deaths apply temporary Trauma levels that reduce Maximum Health, Maximum Stamina, Hunger and Thirst. Trauma persists after disconnecting and offline time continues to count down.
Trauma
A normal death adds 1 Trauma level. Each level reduces stats down to the configured minimums.
The Trauma icon displays the current level count and remaining duration. DeathTrauma also takes Corruption, Alcohol, Hangover and other stat-modifying effects into account.
Original corpse
The first eligible normal death creates an original corpse.
* Later deaths and suicides do not replace it. * Returning within the configured radius removes recoverable Trauma. * Suicide Trauma remains until it expires. * A private glowing marker can help locate the corpse.
Default marker: ON / 100 m.
Timer & suicide
corpse: subsequent deaths keep the current cycle timer.
death: each death restarts the timer using the duration applicable to that death.
A new death can never reduce the remaining time.
Suicide/bracelet removal is harsher. Default: 2 Trauma levels / x2 duration. Suicide Trauma is non-recoverable.
Grace
Optional Grace after respawn prevents new Trauma and timer extensions.
Default: OFF / 15 s.
Trauma Remedies
Optional craftable remedies:
* Trauma Potion ? removes up to 1 Trauma level. * Greater Trauma Potion ? removes up to 3. * Supreme Trauma Potion ? removes up to 5.
They use the normal Knowledge and Alchemist's Bench systems.
All Remedies cause strong drunkenness and temporarily reduce armor. Repeated use increases these penalties through Conan's native drunkenness, Alcohol Poisoning and Sundered systems.
Server modes:
Off ? no learning, crafting or use. Admin only ? no learning/crafting; admin-spawned Remedies can be used. Tier I ? Tier I available. Tier III ? Tier I + III available. Tier V ? all three available.
Changing the Remedy mode requires a server restart.
Default: OFF.
DBNO
DeathTrauma provides two optional and mutually exclusive DBNO modes.
KO DBNO
Death is replaced by a KO:
* the player becomes Unconscious; * receives 1 Trauma level; * can be revived by an ally; * otherwise gets back up when the timer expires.
Optional KO Charges can limit how many KOs are allowed before the next lethal hit causes a real death.
Each KO increases the KO counter. Charges recover automatically one at a time, including while offline. Recovery does not remove Trauma.
A real death resets accumulated KO Charges.
The KO Exhaustion debuff displays accumulated KOs and the time remaining before the next charge is recovered.
Default: unlimited KOs / 600 s recovery.
Death DBNO
A lethal hit becomes DBNO only if a living clan member is within the configured radius.
* Revived ? survive without death Trauma. * Timer expires ? normal death + normal Trauma. * The player can Give Up to die immediately.
Reviving
Aim at an Unconscious player and hold the interaction key.
* Revive duration: 1.5?10 s, default 5 s. * Releasing the key or leaving range cancels. * Successful revive restores configurable Health, default 25%.
