Fishing for Conan Exiles: craft your gear, catch 60 fish in a skill-based mini-game, cook them and mount your trophies. Works on dedicated servers.

Content

• 60 fish in 4 biomes (Desert, Highlands, Tundra, Swamp) and 7 tiers, from Junk to Mythic. Each fish has its own time of day, difficulty, movement and size. Size classes (Small, Medium, Large, Elder) are cosmetic.
• 4 fishing rods, from the Wooden Rod to the Legendary Rod.
• 9 baits, loaded on the rod like ammunition: general baits, one bait per biome, and the Expert Bait.
• 10 accessories that work from your inventory, each with its own effect.
• 20 armor pieces: 4 sets of 5, light armor that adds Fishing Power. They have no visual mesh, so use ToT Custom or another skin mod for their look.
• Cooking: fish are cut into fillets, then cooked into 26 dishes that give 1-hour stat buffs. 8 of them are feasts you place and share (5 or 10 servings).
• 14 trophies to place, for T5 and T6 fish.
• Codex Piscium: a journal that records every fish you catch, with sizes, biome and time of day.
• 4 biome totems (Warm, Temperate, Cold, Swamp). Not craftable, for admins: each one forces its biome in a radius of about 10 foundations, to build custom fishing spots.
• "Fisher" journey: a short tutorial. Finish it, the reward is worth it.
• 129 recipes for gear, fillets and dishes.

How it works

• Fishing Power (FP) is the sum of your rod, bait, accessories and armor. It decides which fish you can catch, your luck on rare fish and how long you wait for a bite.
• Mini-game: keep the fish inside your catch zone until it is caught. Junk barely moves, Mythic fish are fast and erratic. 5 movement types: Mixed, Dart, Jumper, Sinker, Floater.

How to fish

Equip a rod and load bait on it. Press R (radial emote menu) and choose Start Fishing. Hold left click to move the catch zone up, release to let it drop. Press R again to stop fishing.

Admin panel

Admins get a FISHING ADMIN button in the inventory. Changes apply to every player right away and are kept after a restart. If you change nothing, fishing stays exactly as it is.

• Difficulty: Easy, Relaxed, Seasoned or Vanilla (default). Easier settings give more fish of the player's own level; rare fish stay rare.
• Fine tuning: catch focus, level tolerance, Mythic rarity, bite wait, fight difficulty, fish speed and catch zone size.
• Custom weights: set the drop weight of any fish, on top of the chosen difficulty. 0 = never caught. Fish are sorted by biome and rarity, like in the Codex.
• Simulator: odds per tier, average bite wait and catches per hour for a given FP, biome and time of day.
• Profiles: save up to 5 setups on the server (an event setup, for example) and load them back later.
• Food buff potency: lowers the buffs from dishes and feasts, from 100 % down to 0 %.
