!!! Early prototype. Most things don't work. You have been warned !!! Generates an NPC that adds fun and adventure by allowing a group of girls with wild spirits to start to wander the map.
Currently you need to spawn Lost Girls manually using the NPC Spawner in the Admin menu. Search for "lost" and you will find options to spawn lost girls in Red or Blue or with different weapons.
Lost Girls are whimsical NPCs who are wandering the world looking for adventure! Lost Girls love to change their appearance so as they wander around they change. Not just outfits but they also change their physical appearance. Height, skin tone, facial structures, etc. This makes each Lost Girl unique!
Lost Girls are wary of strangers (as they should be!) and will attack players when they see them, however you can Bond with a Lost Girl by hitting the "E" key. This will win them over to your side and they will be friendly towards you and even follow some of your direction. When a Lost Girl is Bonded, you may give her some requests such as following you and staying put (like that ever works...). A Lost Girls physical appearance will become stable when she is bonded. She will no longer randomly change. You can still try asking her to change! Clicking E on a Lost Girl that is bonded to you causes her to switch to a random outfit. There is no current limit to how many Lost Girls you can have Bonded to you. If a LostGirl dies, a new one will spawn at the carpet. Lost Girls are all unique and once they are gone, they are gone forever.
Lost Girl Teams You can spawn Lost Girls on to specific teams based on Color. Currently there are Red Teams and Green Teams Red and Blue Lost Girls will fight each other. Reds are aggressive and will hunt down Green Lost Girls. Greens are passive and will only attack when attacked.
Scenario 1 Spawn a LostGirl_Red_BareKnuckles and a LostGirl_Green_Bareknuckles. They will fight if the Red Lost Girl sees the Green one and attacks her.
Scenario 2 Spawn a LostGirl_Red_Bash and a LostGirl_Green_Bash. They will fight but they use a Truncheon so they only fight to unconsciousness. They will wake up after a while and start to fight again.
Lost Girl Carpet [-NOTE This functionality is not quite working yet. Known issue with Lost Girls freezing and not moving off carpet -] This is a carpet that you can summon that acts as a base for summoning Lost Girls. You can configure a number of settings before enabling. An admin needs to summon a "LostGirl Carpet" in the game. This is a carpet that can be laid down and then you interact with it to configure Lost Girl spawning. Once you Enable spawning, the Lost Girls will start to spawn. You can configure the team that they are on or the weapons they spawn with or how many should be active at a time.
Scenario 1 Lay down a Lost Girl carpet and let them start wandering the map. Scenario 2 Lay down two carpets a ways apart from each other. Set one up as Green Team and the other as Red Team. Let them fight each other. Don't be surprised if some wardrobe malfunctions occur. They are, after all, fighting hard!
Known Issues ========================================= Hopping - Sometimes a Lost Girl will start to bob up and down quickly as she walks. Greens will not attack Reds unless they are hit. Even if the Red is constantly swinging and missing... Lost Girls currently do not persist when the server is restarted. I am working on enabling persistence. Following - Sometimes a Lost Girl who has bonded will not follow you. Was it something you said? Giving - Currently Giving doesnt work. I am stuck trying to figure out how to read the players inventory in order to display it in the radial menu. Complementing Eyes does not generate a reaction. Outfit selection is currently limited Lost Girls getting stuck - I am sometimes seeing Lost Girls get stuck in one location. Often having part of a foot inside a wall. I don't think this is specifically a problem with LG, I think it is a generic NPC problem. Strip - Currently, when asked to Strip, they respond with an animation but she does not strip. Maybe she just doesn't know you well enough yet? Sometimes, when following a Lost Girl will walk or run backwards to you. If a Lost Girl is bonded to you and you leave the server, she will become unbonded to you.
Things I am trying to figure out ========================================= Dying outfits - I want to be able to dye outfits based on the Team that they are on. I can't figure out how to dynamically dye outfits as they are clothed. Sharing Lost Girls between servers - I would like to be able to bring my Lost Girls with me when I travel to any other server that supports Lost Girls. This can be to support me in an adventure or to organize mass battles between Lost Girls from different servers. Integrating with deeper AI - I want to be able to leverage current AI cloud services to give Lost Girls more intelligence and personality. Run away! - Currently Lost Girls just bash at each other until one dies. I want them to be smart enough to disengage and just try to get away long enough to heal a bit before engaging again. Would love to enable compatibility with mods such as Conan Sexiles or to get more animations. Fight to Unconscious - I want a mode where the Lost Girls can fight only until they are knocked unconscious. That way they can engage in fights but not be killed. Currently it's not clear how to save the bonding state once I can get the Lost Girls to persist. Currently a Lost Girl has a variable which contains a reference to a Conan Player Character that she is bonded with. This is an in-memory reference so that would go away once the server is restarted.
