Savage Paragon

Keep progressing after level 60. XP you earn past 60 fills a Paragon track - your displayed level stays at 60, and the track's progress is shown right on the Paragon board. Each Paragon level grants 1 point to spend on a six-tree board - one tree per attribute (Strength, Agility, Vitality, Authority, Grit, Expertise). Most nodes are flat stat bonuses costing 1 point; 46 of them are major abilities costing 2. The track caps at Paragon 100 - reaching it takes about as much XP as getting to level 60 did in the first place. Open the board from the Stats screen, and craft a reset potion any time to refund every point and respec freely.

Features

  • Post-60 progression with its own Paragon XP bar, capped at Paragon 100.
  • A custom six-tree board: roughly 150 minor stat nodes plus 46 unique major abilities.
  • One tree per attribute, opened right from the vanilla Stats screen.
  • A craftable reset potion (Potion of Paragon Memory, learned alongside Grandmaster Alchemist) for unlimited respecs.
  • Server-authoritative and saved per character - your build rebuilds itself every login.
  • Pure logic + data mod: no base-game assets are overwritten. Everything runs through a ModController.
  • Server admin toolkit: console commands to inspect, wipe, respec or top up any player's Paragon state, and to lock individual trees per player - see the pinned Admin Commands guide.

A note on AI-made content

Honesty first. Some of the art in this mod (the board background, the node glow textures and a few buff icons) began as AI-generated images that were then edited and cleaned up by hand. The Blueprint logic was authored with AI assistance (see Credits), then compiled and human-tested like any other mod. If that is a dealbreaker for you, no hard feelings.

Abilities

Every tree also holds many small always-on stat nodes. The 46 major abilities are listed per tree below.

Strength

  • Evisceration - +15% crit chance; crits deal +50% damage.
  • Titan's Momentum - kills grant +15% attack speed for 4s.
  • Blood Drinker - melee hits heal 2% of your max health (1-15 HP).
  • Crushing Blows - heavy hits apply Shattered: -25% armor for 10s (stacks with Sunder).
  • Executioner - +15% damage vs enemies below 20% HP.
  • Relentless Assault - +2% melee damage per consecutive hit, up to +10%.
  • Barbaric - up to +20% melee damage at low armor.
  • Cleaving Force - kills unleash a cleave dealing 50% of your weapon damage to enemies within 3m.
  • Bone Breaker - combo finisher: the target deals -10% damage for 6s.

Agility

  • Windrunner - avoid taking damage and your speed ramps up to +15%; getting hit resets the wind.
  • Pinning Shot - ranged hits: 15% chance to apply Pinned (-90% move speed, 2s).
  • Shadowstep - dodge grants +15% move speed for 2s; dodging again refreshes it.
  • Predator's Aim - stand still 1.5s for +15% ranged damage.
  • Basilisk's Bite - combo finisher: immunity-piercing poison for 8s.
  • Shadow Cloak - stealth while crouched: greatly reduced NPC detection.
  • Acrobat - dodge roll restores +10 stamina (1s cooldown).

Vitality

  • Second Wind - survive a lethal hit at 20% HP, plus 3s of invulnerability (15 minute cooldown).
  • Battle Hardened - +8 armor per hit taken, stacking up to +40 (8s).
  • Unyielding - crowd-control durations -25%.
  • Regenerative Flesh - +0.5 HP/s at all times. (Note: the character stats screen displays passive health regen at half its real rate - a base-game display bug that also affects the vanilla Vitality perk's regen line.)
  • Pain is Power - +2% damage per hit taken, up to +10%.
  • Adrenaline Rush - big hits (>15% HP) grant +20 stamina (3s cooldown).
  • Immovable - while above 90% health, you are immune to stagger and knockback.

Authority

  • Battle Commander - followers attack 8% faster.
  • Ultimate Sacrifice - lethal hit: your lowest-health follower (horses exempt) is sacrificed, healing you for its remaining health (10 minute cooldown).
  • Rallying Cry - kills heal your followers for 2% max HP.
  • Veteran Trainer - followers gain +25% XP.
  • Shared Pain - redirect 15% of damage taken to each combat follower.
  • Guardian Bond - follower below 25% HP: +30% damage reduction for 5s.
  • Pack Leader - +3% damage per active follower.
  • Coordinated Assault - same target as your follower: +10% damage to both.
  • Inspiring Presence - followers regenerate +4 HP/s.

Grit

  • Weathered - +15 cold and +15 heat resistance.
  • Iron Skin - armor weight no longer reduces stamina regen.
  • Meteor - survive any fall; normal fall damage applies, but you always land with at least 1 HP.
  • Tireless - attacks cost progressively less stamina during extended combat (up to -3 one-handed, -5 two-handed).
  • Survival Instinct - at 0 stamina, instantly recover 40 stamina (15s cooldown).
  • Battle Rhythm - alternating light and heavy attacks refunds stamina (+3 one-handed, +5 two-handed).
  • Iron Resolve - lesser blows cannot stagger you while your stamina holds; heavy hits still can, and it fades as stamina drains.

Expertise

  • Master Gatherer - ~2% chance for a bonus rare material when harvesting.
  • Efficient Craftsman - 5% chance to craft a free copy.
  • Treasure Hunter - unowned chests: 15% chance of bonus coins, 5% chance of a rare treasure.
  • Salvager - dismantling returns +25% materials.
  • Forgemaster - repair kits no longer reduce max durability.
