Welcome to an immersive dark fantasy post-apocalyptic world where a great cataclysm has destroyed magic and contaminated the known races, causing them to mutate and become the unwilling vessels for magical energy and its only source, and be hunted down to have it extracted from their bodies.

The Severance is designed to explore themes of dark RP and eRP, appealing to a community that appreciates both. In particular, Severance tries to solve the issue of erotic roleplay usually conflicting with the lore, being immersion breaking, and ignored by any roleplay mechanic.

While the erotic component holds an important role in Severance, we aim to still provide an immersive experience in a dark and gritty world. Here, while the lore is relatively flexible and allows for a great variety of things, we plan to have it respected, to allow the setting to feel its own special vibe, and not become just a 'generic fantasy' world.

The main inspirations for The Severance have mainly been Dark Sun, Numenera, and Fallout.

Server characteristics

• Original lore, inspired by Fallout, Dark Sun, Numenera, D&D
• Lore will be enforced to keep a sense of the setting (e.g. this is a post-apocalyptic setting: no discos, beach clubs, spa, or sumptuous palaces)
• Many built in lore-friendly reasons for rivalries and even to include eRP in your stories
• Advanced mechanics that integrate Roleplay Redux (RR) + Tot + modded content
• eRP-related stats, statues, abilities and items fully integrated in the RR mechanics, and having actual and measurable impacts on your characters
• Map mod and placeable mods that include many ruined buildings and ruins sites, plus caves and other refuges
