The Tale

Once, at the edge of a slow river, a hunter lay with his rifle and waited for three days. He never blinked, so he never saw the water stop moving.

On the fourth morning the river opened one amber eye beneath him and spoke: "You have watched long enough. Now it is my turn."

The hunter was never seen again. His rifle came back with the tide, wrapped in currents that never dry, and the eye has stayed on it ever since, just above the trigger, still open.

Why the AWP

The AWP is the rifle of patience: one angle, one breath, one shot. That is exactly the kind of hunter the river takes. Every time you hold an angle with it, something under the surface holds it with you.

The Paint

Petrol-blue currents run the full length of the rifle and off-white foam breaks along the stock. The tide wraps all the way round the scope tube, while the rings and turrets stay clean graphite.

The Tide Takes Its Share

From Factory New to Battle-Scarred the river takes the foam and the currents first. The eye holds on to the very end, as the tale says it should.

Look Closer

The gold line above the eye runs on into the grip, like the river's surface seen from below.
