Co-op Map: Challenge Tower

Takes 30-60 minutes to complete the map (first 10 floors)

Currently contains 8 challenge floors, 1 boss floor, and the lobby

Hotfix 1.4 changes:

-fixed bots not spawning problems -remade bot spawing method due to retake update changing bot spawning -new bugs may be included -remake of this map is in the works, took a while to find old files

How to play:

For all types of play

-Join the CT team upon loading in, attempting to join the T team can kick bots unintentionally breaking the map (valve bug) if this occurs reload the map (sorry) -The lobby is where you can buy equipment, feel free to return to upgrade or restock between floors -Recommend 3-5 players for best experience -Nocliping is enabled but only use if stuck in props or similar, can cause map to break in weird ways -There is a single checkpoint after starting the 10th floor fight, allowing you to press the 10th floor button again upon all players failing the floor, the checkpoint does not save between map loads -Normal operation has 1-2 bots in the death pit, 1 for first attempt/no checkpoint, 2 for 10th floor checkpoint load, if 3+ bots are in the death pit, use the fix button at 1st floor reception desk, if that does not work check that sv_cheats is set to true and if not exit the map and reload the map after setting it to true in console in main menu (sorry!) -Have fun [hr][/hr]

Solo

Be subscribed to workshop page Before launching map type sv_cheats 1 in console Then launch map The map is balanced around ~4 people, so will be more difficult [hr][/hr]

With a party

Have all players subbed to workshop page Host should type sv_cheats 1 in console Only host must port forward port: 27015 Helpful reddit link Then launch game with all in party (can be launched with at least 1 other player in party then others can join of of steam friends) [hr][/hr]

On a server hoster

Have the workshop page id "3171369402" saved (can also be found in the url after “?id=”) Select custom game mode in server settings Select under map source, “steam workshop: single map” Have the server workshop map id use the id "3171369402" stored earlier Go to servers config settings tab and open the gamemode_custom_server.cfg and add the following to it

sv_cheats 1;
mp_warmuptime 100000000;

Start up the server and give out the server ip to players (players may be timed out if not previously subbed to workshop page, rejoining after download is complete should fix) [hr][/hr]
