Every spell has an hour. This one keeps it on the slide.

The Tale

Once, a clockmaker was asked to build a pistol for a girl who had one night and one rule: be home before midnight.

He set a star on the slide that strikes twelve with every shot and slips back. "As long as it slips back," he told her, "the night is still yours."

She fired until the last round. The slide locked open, the star stayed at twelve, and the carriage by the door sank back into a pumpkin. The embers that rose from it cooled into the stars that are still on the grip.

Why the Glock-18

The Glock is the pistol you spend fast: a quick trigger and a slide that runs back on every shot. A clock that ticks with the slide needs a gun that never stops moving, until the mag runs dry and the spell breaks.

The Paint

A night sky runs over the whole pistol. The clock dial and its minute comb sit on the slide, the star waits at twelve, and the grip sinks into a pumpkin whose embers rise and cool into stars.

The Night Wears Thin

The night sky wears first. The star and the clock dial still read at Battle-Scarred, because midnight always comes.

Look Closer

The minute comb on the slide meets the one on the frame twice: once at rest, and once at midnight, with the slide locked back.
