Quick Description

You play as a fragile marble, and your goal is to quickly reach the goal. Mainly for single player.

There are 5 main stages currently, and I will add more stuff later. That's all you need to know, so continue reading only if you're interested in the internal mechanics.

Introduction

 • This is essentially a movement map, “move from start to finish as fast as possible”.
 • The only controls are WASD, and your camera is always fixed to an angle.
 • Primarily intended for single player, though there can technically be multiple people playing in the map.
 •
• However, there is input delay with multi player, and also the player marbles don’t collide with each other (intentional).

In a stage, there are numerous invisible “checkpoints” placed along the path from start to goal.

 • If the marble hits the ground too fast, falls from a tall height, or falls off the stage, it breaks, and you will respawn from the last claimed checkpoint.
 • If the marble falls off a certain height (but not that tall), it is stunned temporarily (you can’t move).
 • There are several “out of bounds” zones placed in the stages. If you hit these, the marble breaks.
 • Intended mechanic: You can safely fall from any height (and avoid break/stun) as long as you land in a specific way, on some specific things.

To be considered as claiming a checkpoint, you must be strictly on land, and stay within a checkpoint's range for a certain short amount of time. The checkpoints are invisible (intentional), but once you respawn, you will eventually remember where is where.
To be considered as reaching the goal, you must be strictly on land. If you fall and break onto the goal zone, it doesn’t count. But, getting stunned still counts.
Movement mechanics:

 • The marble movement relies on cs2 physics mainly. I’m just adding on top of it.
 • Due to relying on cs2 physics (and subtick?), there may be “cs2” moments, like if you fell from a very tall height where the marble is sure to break, there is a short moment where it looked like it landed properly, but it registers as break in the next tick.
 • The marble has a speed cap, and it has a constant acceleration for the marble’s speed to move from 0 to its speed cap.
Timer Rules

 • When you spawn in a new stage (not respawning), as long as you don't instantly hit the move key: you are considered as asleep, and the timer doesn't run.
 • Official run is you playing all the stages in the order. The final time will be the actual time spent not being "asleep" in all of the stages.
 • Practice run is you playing a specific stage.
•
In Game Command
•
• !r → Restart.
 •
• If you’re on official run mode, you go back to Stage 1.
 • If you’re practicing a specific stage, you go back to the spawn of that stage.

!start → Start an official run. You will be teleported to stage 1.
!play [number] → Practice a specific stage (1 to 5).
!play sandbox → Access the additional sandbox stage.
