A night climb from an old fairy tale, set in silver-wire enamel.
THE STORY In the old tellings of The Glass Mountain, a golden apple tree crowns a peak so smooth that knight after knight slides back down. Only one traveller reaches the top, step by step, and brings the apple home.
THE DESIGN The slide carries the mountain: faceted jade, teal, amber and coral cells under a plum night sky with teal and violet bands. A winding amber path climbs from the lower left to the red apple on the summit. The grip is the second chapter: a large amber crescent moon on deep teal, surrounded by small gold stars.
IN HAND In first person the mountain and the sky bands run along the top of the slide, and the moon shows between your fingers on the grip. Thin silver outlines separate every enamel cell, so the scene keeps its shape as the paint wears.
FINISH Custom Paint Job, Classified intent. Flat matte enamel colours, no metallic effects.
