SCAR-20 | Salt Mill: an old Norwegian fairy tale, painted across the SCAR-20.
The story In the Norwegian tale "Why the Sea Is Salt", a magic hand mill grinds out whatever its owner asks for. A ship's captain steals it, asks for salt and does not know how to make it stop. The ship sinks, and the mill keeps grinding on the sea floor to this day.
The design The long body carries the stone mill with its walnut crank, pouring a stream of salt toward the muzzle. Ivory wave crests run along the top rail as the sea surface, a small ship sails on the scope, the magazine holds the salt heap on the sea floor and a coral reef fills the skeleton stock.
Finish Intended rarity: Classified. Custom Paint Job. Flat enamel-style colour fields with thin silver-grey outlines in ocean blue, ivory, coral red, warm stone grey and walnut. No baked light, no glow.
