Every lie makes it a little longer.
The Tale
A woodcarver once made a marionette that wanted to be a real boy, and every lie it told made its nose a little longer.
It told one lie too many. The nose ran out along the whole silencer, kept on growing and began to sprout leaves.
The strings still hang from the hand on the grip, and at the bottom the cricket sits and watches, waiting for the truth.
Why the USP-S
The silencer is the longest, quietest part of any pistol: the only place a nose this long could fit, and the right gun for lies told in a whisper.
The Paint
Pinocchio as a wooden marionette, carved into the USP-S. The nose runs the full length of the silencer and turns into a leafy branch, strings hang from the hand on the grip, and the cricket sits at the bottom.
Old Varnish
From Factory New to Battle-Scarred the paint wears off the edges first, like old varnish on carved wood.
Look Closer
Seen from behind, the branch grows back into his face, and the hand on the grip only moves when the strings pull.
