UPDATE 1.2

CraftingRecipes is a lightweight crafting mod, originally inspired by and based on the R22R_Recipes_Public mod. All credits go to Author Stern!

At the release in 2022, I had already added 85 recipes of which 20 are ammunition packing recipes. Keep in mind that you need to manually enter the recipes into a manual so that players know what they can craft! Also in 2022 I published the RecipeBook mod for that. But since Expansion Book and similar tools came along, RecipeBook has become outdated and too much work to maintain. It’s also terrible for players to read. That’s why RecipeBook is obsolete with this update now!

Regarding Update 1.2

Since I’ve become active again after a four-year pause, I thought this underrated mod deserved an update! You can do all sorts of things with this small, lightweight mod. With the right settings, you can even repair items to "PRISTINE" condition!

This release is a full overhaul:

Each of the 85 old recipes has been reviewed, corrected, and optimized from the ground up Added 27 new ones and divided all 112 recipes into seven categories Added a sample file in which I have documented all the possible settings in terms of function and operation (English & German). Added a mod picture

What this mod does

Adds a wide range of new crafting recipes to vanilla DayZ using the built-in RecipeBase system. No dependencies, no external mods required. Works on any vanilla map. All recipes use only vanilla DayZ items. Nothing custom, nothing modded. But any Mod Item parts could be added without any problems. Maybe some Expansion Item Recipes for a future update?

What's new compared to the last version 1.1

112 recipes across seven categories — up from the original 85

- **Craft**  — new recipes for  Blowtorch, Cauldron, Crowbar, HandSaw, Lockpick, Matchbox, Heatpack,
         Epinephrine, GardenLime, CombinationLock4, SmallProtectorCase and more
- **Combine**  — fill up your DuctTape and GasMask Filters the same way you already do with SewingKits and EpoxyPutty
- **Repair**  — expanded repair coverage for axes, crowbars, farming tools, grenades, mines, the Wrench and the Blowtorch
    — sharpen all bladed tools and knives with a Whetstone -> more damage repaired, whetstone lasts longer
- **Scavenge**  — break down a Camonet, Car Battery or Power Generator for useful resources
- **Pack**   — all vanilla ammo types covered
- **Mag**   — craft larger magazines from two standard ones
- **Refill**  — refill your Petrol Lighter using a Gas Canister (water check included — only works with fuel)

Configuration

Server mod and client mod — load on both sides. If you’re currently using the mod, please copy the new key!

Since R22_Recipes_Public allows a repack, I’ll go along with that: Feel free to repack for adding own recipes or to deactivate specific ones. Give proper credit, that’s quite enough.
