Cloud Strife, the Ex-SOLDIER

Let's Mosey! Adds Cloud Strife, the Ex-SOLDIER, into the world of DST. He is a combat-based character that comes equipped with numerous items and abilities that will help him and his fellow survivors survive in the Constant.

Comes with a unique voice (an electric guitar), 5 character & item skins, 10 weapons, a custom stat meter that gives him access to 5 different abilities, 5000+ lines of dialogue, and more!

Stats & Perk Overview

Health: 200 | Hunger: 170 | Sanity: 120 1.2x hunger drain | 1x-1.2x walk speed | 1.1x-1.2x attack multiplier | 1x-1.2x defense reduction

• Mentally Unstable: Sanity drains 30% faster, loses health when insane, and is haunted by a troubling foe...

• Cloud’s Limit gauge allows him to perform powerful attacks in combat when using his unique weapons. Limit is gained by attacking enemies, getting attacked, or blocking/countering attacks (more on that later!) By default, Limit will drain when out of combat, but this can be disabled in the mod config.
• When Cloud’s Limit gauge reaches 100%, his stats will temporarily increase. These increased stats will last for 2 minutes, after which his Limit resets to 0.

• Cloud has 5 different limit break abilities total (Cross Slash, Braver, Ascension, Blade Burst, and Meteorain), each tied to a different weapon of his. Every Limit Break has a different amount of hits, range, and AOE vs single target capabilities, so carefully choose the right one for each situation!

• Materia (Unslotted) Stats:

• Has 25 durability (when unslotted)
• Drains 1 sanity per use (more when used by Cloud!)
• Elemental ability activates every 5 hits[/list]
• Materia can be equipped like any other weapon; however, they are fairly weak and fragile when used on their own. Their intended function is instead to be slotted into Cloud's various swords, which transfers their elemental ability onto said weapon, changes the amount of hits needed for activation, and greatly increases the materia’s durability. They also don’t drain any sanity this way!
• To craft Materia, you first have to find Mako Shards. They have a chance to spawn when mining the various boulders in the Constant, or by killing mobs as Cloud. Be sure to grab them quickly if you see them, as they'll quickly despawn if left on the ground!

• Has a small chance to aggro nearby hostile mobs
• Slotted Materia activates every 5 hits
• Can block incoming attacks (alt-click + click empty space)[/list]
• The Buster Sword can block all incoming attacks for up to 4 seconds at a time. In this state, Cloud gains twice as much Limit as he normally would when getting attacked! However, blocking only absorbs 95% of incoming damage, so make sure to pay attention to his health so he doesn't accidentally die.
• Cloud's Buster Sword is unbreakable, but becomes unusable at 0% durability. It can be repaired by giving it Mako Shards.

• While the Buster Sword may be Cloud's iconic weapon, he has the ability to craft numerous other swords (and a bat, too). Most weapons can slot materia into it, and many also have unique abilities like blocking, parrying, and creating magic projectiles!
• Unlike the Buster Sword, these weapons can be used by both Cloud and other players, increasing everyone's combat potential.
