Dig your pond and try your luck while fishing in Lucky Pond.
This mod offers the ability to create a pond.
Recipe for pond at normal difficulty:
This mod offers the ability to create a pond, so you can make dwellings for fish anywhere! Also the mod contains the Set Piece "Lucky Pond" (a complex structure that can be found in the Deciduous Forest biome), which consists of the pond together with the pigs that protect it and the associated Event that occurs during the full moon. A manmade pond is a copy of any other pond that can be found in the world. In the Lucky Pond an unusual “fish” may be fished out – a whole bunch of items similar to those that occur in Tumbleweed. During the full moon something strange is going on near the Pond. If you have enough courage, you’ll find out what.
The lore of the mod
A sweltering summer morning had just begun, and Wilson had been sitting around doing nothing, so he decided to go fishing. Having caught a dozen fishes to eat, he returned to the base. He cannot past an idea that as always came to him as a dream - something about a kind of a pit – unfortunately, he did not remember exactly what. While he was cooking his catch, a fish fell out of the crock pot and began to flop, and suddenly Wilson remembered all - the pit in his dream was filled with water and ... fish. It was a pond! Having reached his Regal Shovel, Wilson started digging. After several hours of work a nice and deep pit appeared there. He threw his Ice Hat into it, and the pond filled up with water. The only thing left to do was to let there fish and wait until rain fill up the pond with water. From then on, it would not be necessary to go over the hills and far away to fish.
The evening was growing dark. Wes was walking around the Deciduous Forest and found a peculiar pond that drew his attention. It was large and there was something alluring about it, some kind of a shining down the bottom. However, the pond was guarded, and how! The Guardian Pigs did not let anyone get anywhere near the Pond. So Wes decided to spend the night at the nearby meadow. Yet the moon was full and he slept badly. Besides in the middle of the night a rumbling aroused Wes from his sleep. It seemed like under the ground something was awakening. And that’s what happened! The Worms of wondrous length were emerging from under the earth’s crust frightening the hell out of pigs so they ran every which way. Wes followed the suit and get off to the base to tell others about what he saw. The next full moon their team would definitely make a visit to the Lucky Pond.
How does Set Piece work? Spoiler alert!
The Set Piece is a pond that can be found in the Deciduous Forest biome, and it is guarded by a squad of 6 combat pigs. The pond does not freeze during the winter therefore any player can fish out useful things at any time. The initial stock of things accounts for 20 units, which will be updated after the full moon. If during the full moon at least one player is near the Set Piece, two (can be changed in cofiguration) Depth Worms for each hero on the server will spawn, emerging from under the depth near the pond and attacking the hero (or heroes). Any hero won’t be able to fish at the time of the battle. Only after killing all of the Worms it will be possible to fish the rewards out of the Lucky Pond. These rewards are better than the usual ones, so there will be 3 items for each defending player. The rewards can be fished out during the full moon and the whole next day. On the next day's dawn the list of items in the pond will be made up of 20 units for each player who was present on the server during the full moon (regardless of whether the fight with the Worms took place or not). If some roses that grow near the pond were damaged, they would be renewed at that time as well.
