Gudu Magic House

A world hidden inside a spellbook: all-new world generation, a magic tech tree, 24 original recipes (including 3 fruit wines), twenty-plus magic buildings, upgradeable gear, and a whole cast of charming magical companions.

Every player starts with a Magic Book: place it on the ground and stand near it to unlock the mod's exclusive crafting tech, or read it to open the in-mod encyclopedia — six categories covering every creature, building, item, crop and recipe, with instant search.

✦ World Generation

• Riddle Gate — A mysterious gate on the plains. Solve its three rotating riddles to earn blueprints for the Magic Broom, Sun Lyre and Alchemy Minion. Once all three are solved, a Snow Jellyfish will wander by every three days — feed it a single ice to make it yours.
• Gem Mine — Deep in the Dragonfly desert, clusters of turquoise, citrine, amethyst and amber grow around a lava pond. Veins regrow after mining and can be transplanted with a pickaxe; slaying the Dragonfly may drop vein seeds, so you can bring the whole mine home.
• Fallen Angel — An angel lies wounded in the wilderness. Heal him for 1000 health in total and he will depart, leaving behind three Angel Feathers — the material for the Hundred-Eyed Angel crown.
• Enzo & the Grass Sprites — Enzo pays well for grass sprites (found while picking grass, reeds, cave flowers or chopping trees), trading gold and nightmare fuel; but standing near him unsettles the mind.
• The Bakery — A little shop in the Pig King forest restocks fresh bread at dawn, each slot randomly priced. Buy out the day's entire stock and a "Homemade Bakery" blueprint will drop.

✦ Cooking & Brewing

• 21 original crock pot recipes: 6 kinds of bread, 2 ice creams, and 13 "critter magic dishes".
• Critter magic dishes: a little critter hops out of you when eaten, granting one of three random buffs — health regen, speed, or sanity regen; the White Rabbit Blueberry Cake also grants three days of daylight-bright night vision.
• Fully compatible with the Portable Seasoning Station: every dish can be spiced chili / garlic / sugar / salt, with seasoning buffs stacking on top.
• Brewing Barrel: drop in the ingredients and brewing starts automatically — one bottle matures every two days, six per batch. Wheat makes beer, juniper berries make gin, peaches make peach wine.
• New crops: wheat, peaches, Chinese bayberries, juniper berries and gooseberries — plus a gooseberry fence that grows its own berries.

Living & Storage

• Witch's House — A little cottage you can actually walk into: constant indoor temperature, no rain.
• Moon-Core Fridge — A 40-slot fridge, upgradable with a moonlight glow and food refreshing.
• Kitty Chest / Vine Display Cabinet — A 15-slot kitty-themed chest; an 8-slot display cabinet that shows your items on its shelves.
• Homemade Bakery — Stock it with bread and pigs, bunnymen and merms will come to eat, leaving gem coins behind.
• Magic Cauldron — Brews magic dishes and potions; mirrors all vanilla recipes and works with the Smart Crock Pot.

Lighting & Garden

• Five garden lamps — the Orchid-Firefly Lamp, Heart-Flower Night Light, Star Net, Lotus-Tree Bottle Lamp and Cloud-Paper Cat Lantern, all powered by light bulbs; the Lotus-Tree Bottle Lamp even keeps nearby crops growing at night.
• A Red Rose Lamp — A night light with a sanity aura, in seven colors of your choice.
• Two Butterfly Candles — The Light Candle tends crops and slowly grows flowers around you; the Shadow Candle sows weeds into empty farm soil at night.
• Nature Divine Tree — Automatically waters and fertilizes nearby crops, and stops them from smoldering in summer.
• Paper Boat River Lantern — A floating lantern that drifts across the sea and never goes out.
• Stone Hot Spring / Whisper Ice Spring / Flower Pond — A hot spring that heals up to four bathers; an ice pond that never freezes and never spawns frogs; a fishable flower pond.
• Ten garden decorations — Snowman, Snow Globe Cottage, porcelain orchid, ornamental dead tree and more — dress your base into a garden.

Utility & Defense

• Home Totem — Blocks sinkholes and falling rocks nearby; stores maps to share with every player, with naming and notes.
• Hearthstone — A portable recall stone: teleport to any named Home Totem; while carrying it, monkeys and otters can't steal from you.
• Alchemy Minion / Sun Lyre — The Minion taunts enemies and reflects damage; the Sun Lyre burns foes while lighting and warming the area — and they empower each other when close.
• Green Snake Pot — A good doctor that stores healing: pet it to heal yourself, and it tends nearby Alchemy Minions on its own.
