Made it through winter and built a base, but aren't sure what to do next? Want to follow the Celestial or Shadow path without losing track of prerequisites and supplies?

Main Quest Handbook brings progression guides, useful item walkthroughs, and a searchable encyclopedia directly into the game. From preparing for an expedition to putting your hard-earned loot to use, all tasks support automatic completion detection. You can also open the handbook at any time to find your next goal.

Two main paths to guide your journey

• Celestial Path: Seek out lunar relics, befriend Pearl the Hermit Crab, and work your way toward the experiments in the storm and the celestial challenges beyond.
• Shadow Path: Explore the Ruins and Atrium, venture into the ancient temple, prepare the offerings, and advance toward the shadow finale.
• Side Goals: From the Walking Cane and Eyebrella to base structures, sailing equipment, and late-game items, choose a goal based on what you want to obtain.

Includes 400+ tasks and steps, with 134 side objectives. Follow a main path or focus on the preparations that matter to you right now.

A searchable encyclopedia: how to get it, how to use it

Browse 650+ entries covering relevant items, materials, structures, bosses, and game mechanics.

• Look up acquisition methods, instructions, requirements, and practical tips.
• Find out what boss loot is used for and what you can make with it next.
• Search by Chinese item names, uses, or materials. If you cannot remember an item's name, try a keyword such as “照明” (lighting) or “保鲜” (food preservation).
• Click highlighted text or item icons with encyclopedia links to open the related entry.

Keep your next steps on screen

• Quest Tracking: Track your chosen goals and keep their instructions visible after closing the handbook. The tracker can be dragged and scrolled.
• Material Summary: See the supplies needed for tracked, unfinished tasks in one place. Consumable quantities are combined, while reusable tools are accounted for without unnecessary duplicates.
• Location Hints: When a reliable location is known, view the target's direction and distance to help you return to places you have discovered.
• Progress Updates: Record completion based on available game information, with notifications and completion sounds.
• Local Autosave: Progress and tracked goals are saved by account and world. The surface and caves of the same world share quest progress.

Getting started

[olist] [*]Subscribe, then enable 主线引导手册 (Main Quest Handbook) under Mods → Client Mods. [*]Enter a world and press F6, or click the scroll button beside the self-inspect button on the right side of your inventory bar. [*]Choose 天体线 (Celestial Path), 暗影线 (Shadow Path), or 支线 (Side Goals) to browse tasks and required items. [*]Select a goal and click 追踪任务 (Track Quest). Open 随身百科 (Encyclopedia) whenever you need more information. [/olist] The hotkey can be changed and supports Ctrl, Alt, and Shift combinations. After enabling the mod, click the current hotkey in its configuration, press your new key combination, and apply the changes. Tracker background opacity and completion sound volume are also configurable. Completion sounds can be turned off.

Before you begin

• Made for Don't Starve Together. Works when hosting your own world or joining a multiplayer server. Primarily designed for keyboard and mouse.
• Quests provide guidance and record progress. The mod does not grant item rewards or change world rules. Listed drops and outcomes describe content from the base game.
• Some results are marked “≈ 估算” (Estimated). These are inferred from available information and can be updated when definite evidence becomes available.
• Location tracking relies on known positions. No reliable record means no arrow. A target marked “上次位置” (Last Known Position) may have moved. Arrows indicate direction, not an obstacle-free route.
• You can enable the mod in an existing world. It will try to fill in progress using current items, recipes, and known information, but cannot reconstruct every action taken before installation.
• The handbook contains progression, boss, and loot spoilers. To preserve the surprises, read only the sections you need.
