Rotating Compass

What this mod does

It adds a little rotating compass to the UI. The arrow points to the direction the player is facing, while the compass body rotates to match the cardinal coordinates.

It also adds the compass to the map screen (configurable) so you can always give directions to people who ask "where is X thing?".

Notes

This is a client only mod, meaning it'll work in any server, even vanilla.

Configuration options

• Follow target: Sets if the compass needle should follow the screen orientation (always point up) or the player (rotate along it).
• Compass wobble: Sets if the compass should "wobble" and how much when you rotate the camera. Kind of hard to explain, play around with the setting.
• Needle wobble: Sets if the compass needle should "wobble" and how much when the player walks around.
• Show screens: Sets if the compass should show in the game screen only, the map screen only or both.
• Horizontal alignment: Sets the horizontal anchor point to take as a reference when positioning the compass ( see pictures)
• Vertical alignment: Sets the vertical anchor point to take as a reference when positioning the compass ( see pictures)
• Horizontal margin: Sets the spacing between the horizontal anchor point and the compass (see pictures).
• Vertical margin: Sets the spacing between the vertical anchor point and the compass (see pictures).

Planned features

Add skins to the compass and the pointing needle. Sadly, I'm not skilled enough to draw them, so if you're an artist and would like to contribute, feel free to hit me up.
