You may find Weather FX Disabler to be useful.
Mod config settings and their approximate meaning:
None- No Snow. Some- Up to tier 1 coverage (Winter start, generally) More- Up to tier 2 coverage (Heavy Winter start) Lots- Up to tier 3 coverage (Mid Winter, generally) All- Anything goes, mod basically in disabled mode.
Changelog: 0.1.2- Different hooking method to hopefully resolve whatever changes on the backend Klei did that made flickering. 0.1.1- Support for varying levels of snow intensity. 0.1.0- Release.
