(CV CPU Tier 4, Class 2, Unlock Level 20, (Reforged Eden and Vanilla)

Primary roles: Helios MSC Dropship Module, Vanilla and Reforged Eden, HIgh Gravity, Storage, Production, Shield, Defense, Upgradedable, Warp ready

Update 3/11/21 - Fixed issue on cargo bay 3 having only 312K and not 320K storage. It now has 320K storage. No other changes were made.

The Apollo High Gravity Dropship 1 module is designed to dock to the Helios-MSC drop ship bay at the rear of the ship. It is used for bringing vehicles to a planets surface and serve as a production/utility base on the ground that also can defend itself from attacks. Because some planets can have very high gravity, this ship was equipped with 4 XL lift thrusters to carry a heavy load as well as vehicles back up to space. The Apollo-HGD1 was designed to support both Vanilla and Reforged Eden. Reforged Eden users will need to add 1 basic and 2 improved cores right away to get to the proper CPU level. Vanilla users need to make no changes. This will dock like any other module to the Heilos or supporting creations, lining up to the LCD guides (left side back area) to dock.

Survival features

Being a production module it comes with a lot of stock features as well as some places to install upgrade parts. Stock it comes with 8x320K cargo systems, 6 advanced constructors, 2 ammo boxes, 2 food processors, 2 fridges, T2 repair bay and console, o2, armor locker and armor repair, small crew area, 2 passenger seats, detector, T2 shield and pentaxid tank, front and rear Wifi, 5x9 hangar door, full medical bay, large hangar for ships size, shower (hangar) toliet (crew area), and left and right side entry access besides hangar door.

Offense and Defense

The ship was built with hardened steel, comes with a T2 shield,16 turrets planet firing turrets (4 cannon on bottom, 12 minigun top), and 2x 14K ammo boxes. It is not meant for combat but is meant to defend itself on planet surfaces from drones and other dangers.

Upgradeable Features

Vanilla users can add an optional warp drive as well as 2 additional advanced constructors, more fuel tanks or other parts.

Reforged Eden users can add an additional advanced CPU core, Long Range Radar, Advanced Warp core, 2 additional T-1 generators, 2 deconstructors. Also RE players are required to add 1 basic and 2 improved CPU cores once spawning it. There is an information panel in the hangar next to the bridge with additional information on placing parts.

Features Summary:

1. For Vanilla and Reforged Eden (RE needs some CPU blocks added. Info LCD in the ship) 2. Hardened Steel hull, T2 shield, warp drive ready 3. 8X320K harvest storage, 6 Advanced Constructors, 4 cargo boxes 4. 12x Minigun and 4x cannon turrets, 2x 14K ammo boxes 5. 2 Fridges, Full medical bay, o2, Front and rear Wifi, detector, 2 passenger seats 6. Plenty of lift thrust to move heavy loads on high gravity planets 7. Gravity generator with interior switch control 9. T2 repair bay and console

Please see the Helios-MSC module collection for links to the Helios-MSC (both Reforged Eden and Vanilla versions) as well as a ton of modules by myself and many other authors. Link at top of post.

I hope you enjoy!

Notes: When loaded and unloading HV's and SV's when docked in the Helios Dropship bay first slightly undock by a hair. At this point vehicles can drive in and dock in the Apollos hangar. Once returning to the ship with vehicles, first dock as normal, then undock by just a bit. This allows for you to undock and move the vehicles inside of the Helios. Just remember to re-dock the drop ship before moving the Helios.
