Ares - Combat SV

Ares is a combat SV, that can easily take down most POI's & farm planetary Drone Harvesters & Swarms. Ares was designed to be that perfect combat SV that can handle itself well, but also not require any special cores to spawn.

Defended by a Heavy Shield Generator & 4 Shield Capacitors, Ares can absorb a lot of damage! While taking that damage, the 6 Plasma Cannons will quickly melt POI shields, and take out any hostile weapons targets in the area. Additionally, there are 3 Minigun turrets already included. These are great for quickly killing any hostile ground troops, or giving you a very good indication of where the generators are, within a target.

Additionally, the Ares is made from either hardened or combat steel. Combat steel was only used to protect the small thruster decoy in the front. All other blocks are hardened steel. Even with this strong hull, Ares is highly agile & can spin circles around your enemies!

Need to navigate a high G environment? Ares can do that with a limited load! Any planet can be safely entered & exited with Ares, however, be careful on how much ammo/loot you load up. It may not be able to lift a full load off a high G planet.

If you do add additional turrets, simply add the auxiliary or quantum cores inside the cabin, near the core.

Send the drone out the back door! I've already marked where to stand to launch the drone. As a bonus, you can even shut the door with your drone, to securely keep you within the ship.
