Built for XCaliber's April "Medical creation" challenge.

The Asclepius-Heavy Hospital Ship is a large mobile hospital also providing plenty standard survival features. This includes a shield and retractable defense system for possible conflict zones all though not intended for combat.

Standard Features include: 108 grow plot farm, 4 small hangar bays and 1 large hangar, 2 landing pads, 2x320K and 3x160K storage, 56K ammo storage, a lot of extra cargo boxes, 2 advanced constructors, 3 small constructors, compartmentalized o2, Officer and crew quarters, med bays, an engineering area.

Hospital features: This is a large ship with a lot of hospital space, infectious disease areas, medical equipment, labs, break room, training room, etc. The ship has 5 decks and 5 elevator systems however knowing the layout one can access all but deck 5 via stairs as well. There is a lot to explore.

Offense and Defense:

The ship comes stock with 13 turrets and 4 sentry guns. All of these are retractable and should only be engaged as a defensive measure. It also has a T2 shield. The hull is built of steel with carbon substrate interior to save on weight and cost. Again, this is not a combat ship however can defend against normal game play attacks.

Other features: The ship has robust LCD directory system to help out with navigating. It also has ton of separate o2 zones, some areas purposely meant to contain infectious (air borne) viruses. It also has sensor based lights, bridge control switches, different landing areas for different quick access to the ships hospital features. Some decks of the ship are also asymmetrical built.

Notes: Small hangar bays 1 and 3 and the large rear hangar are mostly for crew and staff. Hangar bays 2 and 4 are for Medical emergency patients. The rear landing pad is for high level infectious disease victims, the mid landing pad is for low level sick, but also need to be quarantined. However, there are lots of ways to get around the ship using elevators and stairs. Interior lighting is tuned for night/space. It may take a bit to get to know your way around. :)
