Atheos II

Presenting the Atheos II, the latest build from Filbert Shipyards!

The Atheos II is an early-mid game modular carrier designed to be compatible with the Astra Module system.

Featuring 2x module bays and following the same principles as its big brother the Astra, the Atheos II has functions from each module type that can be expanded upon by adding whichever module type the user desires.

The Atheos II has also been designed with upgrade-ability in mind. In the pics you will see where the rear thrust can be upgraded to increase the warpable payload and where side thrust can be boosted to speed up the time to aim at your warp target. There is space for one extra large gen in each gen room, space for 8 added turrets, space for a teleporter with sensor already in place.

The ship also features CPU expansion rooms made from hardened steel to allow for 4x Advanced CPU extenders.

As with the Astra, the Atheos II can be parked with turrets on and shields up and not consume any fuel!
