Basic Adaptive Survival Environment - Emergency Shelter - This 'inflatable' base should be standard equipment on any well-equipped escape pod. It is inexpensive to build, quick to deploy, and has just about everything you need to survive after being stranded on a harsh and inhospitable planet.
Features: Large Constructor Food Processor Fridge Generator and fuel cells Solar generator and solar panels Oxygen tanks and dispenser Cannon Turret and Ammo box Ventilator (base is air-tight) Motion sensor for lights Crop lights with area for plant blocks Switch to turn off crop lights Clone chamber Plenty of cargo boxes Amazing wood floors
--------------
Alpha 9 Update: This base now unlocks at level 5 - I was going to add the new cargo controllers to the build but it requires cobalt, and since I didn't have any on my starter planet, I figured that finding it was based on luck. So, I didn't add the new cargo system to the base. HOWEVER...I did auto-sort the devices and labelled each cargo container, as well as added numbers to the floor in front of the containers to aid in storage and sorting.
=========A Special Note for Newer Players=====================
I thought it might be helpful to provide a guide for placing this and other Bases in game... F2 to spawn your blueprint. INSERT or DELETE will move the blueprint to face north, south, east, west. HOME will move it away from you END will move it toward you. PAGEUP moves the bp up PAGEDOWN moves the bp down and into ground. Click mouse to set.
Ideally, you want to be on fairly level ground or some digging may be required. On this base, the lower level of blocks is wood and should be buried up to the line separating the wood from concrete blocks. Leaving a Base without good and widespread contact with the ground can lead to problems with structural integrity and the Base could collapse.
Enjoy!
