Light scout/support hovercraft, relatively cheap and fast to manufacture at early stages of the game. Sidemounted rocket turrets provide good coverage for shooting downwarsds and upwards. Once you have the resources to make it you can install a plasma turret on top for an extra punch or change some blocks for armoured ones, making Mk II.

Although that's about it, I wouldn't go guns blazing against an unsuppressed POI with live turrets, but it kept my back clear from drones and predators, and provided some support when I took down the turrets with an airstrike or sniped them from a distance and went in to loot POI before trasitioning to heavier and more resource hungry vehicles.

Speaking of resources, 2 rocket turrets are a bit hungry on ammo (still better than miniguns that are chewing up through iron and magnesium like crazy but don't provide enough punch in my opinion).

I have also tried sidemounted plasma turrets, but they behave strangely probably because of the slower rotation speed. Hard moundted miniguns are useless on a hovercraft as it is impossible to aim them without pitching, just for decoration.

The best armament combination for it in my opinion is 2 rockets on the side + 1 plasma on top, although by the time you make plasma turret you will probably have heavier and better protected vehicles in your hangar. For the same reason I didn't upgrade all the blocks to armoured ones, no point turning good scout into bad tank. It is still good for quick runs to areas around your base though.

Have fun

Updated. I finally got around to update it. Fixed flipped markings. Added constructor and O2 stations. There's a docking pad for airlifting (it is easy to remove if you don't like it)
