CV, Core8, Unlock Level 25, Class 2

Miner / Salvager for Reforged, Helios-Compatible Docking. Reforged Galaxy/Eden 1.6.

Works only in Reforged Galaxy and Reforged Eden. This ship uses equipment only available in Reforged-based scenarios.

Warning: Has one partially obstructed thruster. You may need to change your game options to use this build.

The Camilla is a mid-to-late-game dedicated mining and salvaging CV. It is designed to act as a standalone CV or can be docked in a Helios module slot. It features an asymmetric design that allows for excellent forward visibility for both mining and salvage operations using a single cockpit. The ship is capable of planetary landings and can easily explore high-G planets while carrying light cargo loads (figure about 3kt @ 5G, which is about 30 voidium crystals). Please note that the side boarding ramp is only automatic on entry. Press F on it to open it as you leave the ship, and it will auto-close behind you.

Mining capabilities consist of 10 laser drills, three 320k harvest controllers, and two advanced constructors for ore processing. For salvaging there is a single front-mounted multi-turret. The spotlights are aimed to illuminate the entire area in front of the ship for clear mining and salvaging. An advanced warp drive and long-range radar are installed stock.

The hallway behind the bridge provides access to a teleporter and a small landing pad. The landing pad can hold a small planetary SV miner such as an Auger Mk-S or an Aardwolf.

The stock weapon loadout is primarily for drone defense using a combination of minigun and flak turrets. On planets the miniguns and sentry turrets will deal with drones and ground troops. The ship is protected by an advanced shield generator.

Amenities are basic: a few essential cargo boxes, a fridge, food processor, armor locker, biomedical chamber, and O2 station. Two showers are present for clearing heat and rads upon entry and in the engineering section, and a toilet in the cockpit can also double as an extra passenger seat.

You still have about 150k CPU left for any upgrades. If you need more CPU there is room behind the stairs by the teleporter to install the 5th advanced CPU extender by replacing the two floor blocks by the landing pad door (the blocks above the "AE" markings behind the stairs).

The color palette and texturing of this ship are similar to that used on jrandall's Supremacy-ICD. The Camilla is intended to have a similar aesthetic so that it can be docked in one of that ship's module bays to provide mining and salvaging capabilities after a fight.

All doors, passenger seats, and health devices are public by default. All storage and the pilot seat are private.
