-UPDATED FOR ALPHA 4-

Multifunction full-feature base - Designed for survival, by survivalists.

Multiplayer tested and ready. Flexible design lets it be placed in space or on planets - whatever it turns out you need after finishing blueprint production :)

-4 advanced fabricators: seperated, labeled, and convenient to eachother. Process ore, build ammo, and churn out components all at the same time. -24 grow plots to keep grumbling bellies fed, even with multiple players. -1 primary pad that can fit quite large SVs -2 secondary hangars that fit small SVs -Centrally located gravity generator -Offline protection

The Class II platform was inspired by a farm expansion I made to a friend's asteroid base. It's cheap enough to be achievable while featuring everything you need in a base. There are walkways extending out of the hydroponics and industrial modules that can be easily converted into additional facilities, a capital ship dock, or entrance ramps for planetary bases.

The platform is size-symmetrical in two dimensions so that when placed from a blueprint, the signal tag will be at the center-bottom of the central hub.

The bottom supports that carry weight in planetary environments are placed and sized to function as turret pads in space, providing full 360 degree turret coverage for both flak and cannon turrets if need be. Cautionary note: No base is a match for an enemy capital vessel! The turrets are meant as a deterrent and to fight off SVs.

The posted version has hardened steel; the cost goes down significantly with regular steel, or up significantly with combat steel.
