I've had a few requests to update the Halifax for 6.0. S.C Worsin was kind enough to take that project on last time, and I thank him for it immensly. However, There were a few things with the old layout that bothered me so I felt it was time for a revamp of the Halifax in general. So here is the CV-6147 Halifax.
Features:
- Larger unified Hangar Bay. No more deciding if the HV or the SV gets to repair.
- At least one full block flooring. Double armor in some of the flooring and walls. No more thin walls for floors. (Minus the Man door which could easily be filled and removed.)
- No more maze like layout. I did my best to rearrange the rooms and hallways logically. The garden and battle bridge could not be moved due to the hull width in those areas.
- Motion detected Ramps. Simply approach the Halifax in your HV and the ramps will begin to deploy automatically, and will automatically retract when you reach the top.
- "CONDITION RED" mode. Activatie the red switches in either Bridge. (By the front entrance in the main bridge, and above the cockpits in the battle bridge) The ship will enter a tactical mode.
- All of the RCS, Engines and weapon turrets will be turned on.
- The Drill Turret will be turned off.
- The outside lighting will go black and the spotlights will be turned on. (Example Picture Posted)
- Red Flares and LCD will come to life around the ship, letting you know that this mode is engaged.
- Upon deactivating all of the devices will remain in this state until changed using the Main Control Panel. Excluding the outside lighting which will turn back on.
Check the Main Control Panel and explore the ship to find other features and options.
* For those of you like me who don't care if you have an ammo, oxygen or fuel room to walk through and just want the capacity increased, i made a version of that as well. Just let me know if it's something you would like posted.
** I realize that some of you out there may prefer the previous model of the Halifax. So i'm going to keep it up on the workshop as well, however there will be no further updates to it. Please feel free to make any changes you would like yourself.
