The Eclipse is a midgame CV that should be able to carry you well into the endgame. Depending on how the RE 1.7 balancing goes it *might* even be all you ever need. It comes with some armor and decoys at the bow, which will be enough to tank through some fire. For tougher opponents or long engagements you will however need to upgrade the shields. From the start comes with 3x Capacitors and 2x Chargers, leaving it at 16k Shield.

Includes a generous set of solar collectors, to ease early operating costs, together with a large hangar bay. And a huge amount of upgrade potential. Also fluff.

Mobility is rather mediocre on the start, but can be upgraded as you get more CPU Upgrades.

29.03.2022: Redid the shield upgrade room for the new shield upgrade models. For now I kept the ship on a similar layout, which does not support the large capacitors/chargers and only 4 medium ones.

Note: CV Rapid fire Torpedo Markings are at the bottom of the ship. Placing a torpedo launcher there will interfere with landing. Ravien is aware and is looking into the issue. I will leave it for now as it is and see whether he comes up with a solution.
